Management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Managing the actual production facility is an essential part of management. As is generally the case with process management, there are helpful methodologies and schools of thought, such as the LEAN approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The LEAN concept and its variations \u2013 Lean Thinking, Lean Manufacturing, Lean Management, ErgoLean, etc. \u2013 go beyond the isolated application of a methodology or toolset. Rather, it is a philosophy or mindset for continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.lean.org\/WhatsLean\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Lean Enterprise Institute<\/a>&nbsp;The core idea of \u200b\u200bthis model is to create the maximum possible value from the customer&#8217;s point of view, with the smallest possible resource consumption and by utilizing the knowledge and skills of the people performing the work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>2. communication<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Communication is indispensable in today&#8217;s world. Whether in private or business life, nothing works without communication.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In production management, communication is a basic requirement; without it, it is not possible to do the daily work, and certainly not to achieve excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Therefore, the manager should assume the role of a communicator and communication trainer to avoid misunderstandings and promote self-organization among employees. Consequently, it is important to regularly refresh relevant knowledge through shop floor management training in order to continuously adapt to the team&#8217;s circumstances and develop social skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a><\/a>3. Visualization<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Having key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production management is another prerequisite that helps managers achieve better processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Important questions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What is the team&#8217;s mission and goal?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What key performance indicators (KPIs) are used for measurement?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discrepancy between current state and goal?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What specific processes are involved, and what problems arise from them?<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>What measures are planned to solve these problems, and what improvements can be implemented?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While these questions serve as a starting point, it&#8217;s important to consider that indicators or KPIs should be defined according to the SMART principle. The most important figures should meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>They should be specific (S = Specific)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They should be measurable (M = Measurable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They should be achievable (A = Achievable)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They should be realistic, reflecting the company&#8217;s actual situation, and not set unattainable goals (R = Relevant).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They should be time-bound, meaning they should be reachable within a specific time frame (T = Time-Bound).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Furthermore, the parameters to be measured should be easy and straightforward to visualize. Various methodologies can be used for the problem-solving process, such as W. E.
