PayAnything – Making payments easy

Paying invoices is a daily task for any business – yet the process is often time-consuming and prone to errors. Manually entering and processing invoices in SAP Business One is particularly inefficient. While various companies have developed solutions to simplify this process, the Swiss market lacks a service that integrates seamlessly with the SAP standard. This is precisely where PayAnything comes in.

PayAnything reads the relevant data from the SAP payment tables and converts this bank information into the common PAIN formats. This happens directly in the cloud and is processed instantly. The generated files can then be conveniently uploaded to e-banking. In SAP, the files can be generated either in draft mode (before posting) or after completing the payment assistant (after posting). In all cases, the full functionality of the SAP standard payment assistant is used. This now also enables negative payments, i.e., payments to creditor customers.

In the following sections, we briefly explain how PayAnything works:

  1. During setup, an additional button “Create Bank File” is added to the SAP Payment Assistant, which ensures the following functions.
  2. Data validation: For example, it is checked whether the IBAN of a QR invoice is actually a QR-IBAN.
  3. Data aggregation: The data is grouped by bank account and currency to generate a single, consolidated debit entry for the bank. A separate file is created for each group. This ensures that the transmitted information is sufficient. For example, a SEPA payment requires different mandatory fields than a QR invoice.
  4. File creation in PAIN.001 format: Finally, the bank files are created in the standard PAIN.001 format (V9) and made available for download. The user can then conveniently save the file to the target path.

Since PayAnything is a service, it is also available on the web and therefore future-proof and compatible with the SAP Business One web client. Further information about PayAnything is available here a DAK Bungalow.
