SAP commands, the most important abbreviations

SAP commands or keyboard shortcuts are a quick and easy way to perform recurring tasks with a single keystroke. They save time navigating through all SAP screens, regardless of the product.

Why you should use SAP commands

Many SAP functions are accessible to the user via icons. However, it can be tedious to search for and click on these icons several times an hour. An SAP hotkey, keyboard shortcut, or command—whatever you want to call it—is a key combination that allows you to access keyboard functions while working, eliminating the need to use the mouse.

Before familiarizing yourself with the SAP commands, you should know that these keyboard shortcuts can represent the same symbol depending on the SAP screen you are on. They are similar on both Mac and PC.
