Thanks to the digitalization of processes within its complex business model and a digital service solution for its technicians, the company is well-positioned for further growth and increased value creation.
Challenge
The complex business model involves many suppliers and elaborate production processes with a high export share. Coupled with rapid growth, the previous ERP system soon proved inadequate. It did not provide real-time information and generated redundant data. This led to increased workload, greater susceptibility to errors, and delays.
Furthermore, there was a lack of integrated production planning and a corresponding service module for the technical field service.

The new ERP system maps all processes – from business planning, production, purchasing, manufacturing and warehouse management to sales-related processes such as sales. It also features a robust controlling function across all areas.
At the same time, potential for business optimization is realized. The automated operational processes provide timely warnings of complications or spontaneous customer needs.
Result
Reiden Technik now has a powerful analytics and reporting tool in SAP Business One, providing accurate data from across the entire company. Reports can now be easily created using data from various sources. Predefined KPIs and numerous clear and informative visualizations increase transparency and provide all the information needed to manage the business and make informed decisions.
Thanks to the new system, the extra effort of redundant data and complicated processes has been eliminated, and delays and potential errors have been significantly reduced. The dispatching board also allows for much more efficient scheduling of technicians. Employees are now deployed optimally, resulting in greater added value for the company.
