KEUNE is one of the highest quality and most exclusive hair cosmetic brands worldwide. The Dutch manufacturer distributes its products through exclusive retailers and is represented in over 80 countries. In Switzerland, KEUNE is a family business and has been owned by the Wagner family since 2001.
Challenge
Since its founding, KEUNE has doubled its revenue every two years. The existing system could no longer cope with the explosively growing volume of data and had become difficult to manage. Therefore, the major challenge was to find a scalable IT system that could handle the constantly increasing amount of generated data and allow for unrestricted expansion.
Solution

Customer service representatives have access to all necessary information over the phone, significantly simplifying their work and improving service. Furthermore, this powerful and flexible solution offers an interface between the production facility and the various sales offices, which can be adapted to changing needs. The new software also enabled further optimization of the “intelligently managed warehouse.”
Result
The implementation timeframe was tight. However, thanks to DATA UNIT’s excellent planning and the commitment of everyone involved, the deadlines were met. With SAP Business One, KEUNE can now map its business processes seamlessly, optimally analyze existing data, and continuously optimize numerous individual processes, such as warehouse management. Orders can be processed and shipped more quickly and with less effort.
There were also improvements in other areas, such as the handling of specialist seminars for customers, which can now be managed directly in the system, resulting in significant time savings and reduced effort.
